Welcome to March! This week we have this year’s Mobile World Congress, and naturally there are some big announcements.
Samsung seems to be stealing the show with the launch of the Galaxy Ring – which opens a new chapter in smart fitness and health tracking. Samsung more or less showed off a prototype of the ring and teased it — we didn’t get specs, pricing, or availability. The ring will be officially launched in early July.
This week we got close to the Ring of the Milky Way and took some photos. It comes in silver, gray and gold colours. It has a slightly concave top and houses the technology and sensors in the inner ring.

Samsung has yet to reveal pricing and availability details.

With the end of Mobile World Congress, the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO) were announced. The Best Smartphone award goes to the Pixel 8 series. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 won the Breakthrough Device Innovation award, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra won the Best Connected Consumer Device award, and the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design won the Best of Show award.
