Hello everyone and welcome to this week! It’s time again for us to look back at the noteworthy updates from the past seven days. With Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year approaching, we’re in one of those quiet times for seasonal updates. Well, I’m sure another one will show up soon. Currently, there are a wide variety of updates to check out. Of course, you can follow updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forum. This weekly summary is just to give you an idea of things you may have missed. Let us work hard together!
sonic dream teamRelatively big update sonic dream team has arrived. It doesn’t have any new levels, but it does bring time trials for those who like a perfect run. Yes, there are rankings. There are also eight new boss missions available to play, with Dr. Crabbulus, Factory Foreman, and Guardian Hunter all getting some new moves you’ll have to keep an eye out for. Not bad, hopefully this is just the beginning of this game.
Endless solitaire card game, Free Oddly enough, several games have changed their monetization models this week.First up is this game, I believe it’s called Unlimited cards But apparently its name has been changed to something more SEO-friendly. Anyway, the game is now free to play and has absolutely no ads. There is now an IAP called EXTRA, which costs $1.99 and gives you some extra options and features. You know, it also brought in some funding for the developers, who have continued to work on the game in the two years since it first launched.
Goat Simulator+, oh, I said we were done with the Valentine’s Day update, but I guess this is the last one.Popularity comes from waste of space Offered as a limited-time Valentine’s Day event. You can unlock Chad, a romantic goat who is looking for love in all the wrong places. Of course, who doesn’t want an amorous goat running around? Seems like a good idea.
Balloon Tower Defense 6, $6.99 Note that this update also works on at least the Apple Arcade version, and maybe the Netflix version too, but they don’t know how to write a decent update description. Regardless, you’ll get a new Monkey Sub Paragon, Nautic Siege Core. What are these monkeys doing? Um. There’s also a new middle map called Sulfur Springs, a new co-op boss challenge mode, some new map editor goodies, and more. This seems to be a pretty robust update, so give it a try if you haven’t dipped into it in a while.
castle collapsea new kingdom debuts together with the Spore Forest Kingdom, bringing sixty new levels to the game castle collapse. Spore forest, huh? Sounds like some kind of fungal kingdom. A Mushroom Monarchy, if you will. There are also some new events, as well as some challenges for the Mushroom King. I’m not even making this up, that’s his name. Trust fungi. There are some other optimizations and fixes here, but I’ll let you sort them out on your own.
cartoon explosionhave some free time this week for the obligatory free matching puzzle game update and I’m lazily picking through Cartoon explosion. what can I say? I was late for dinner and hadn’t finished my work. As usual, you can look forward to fifty new levels, this time themed around the Lost Phoenix. Search it. Find the Phoenix. If you do this, only good things will happen. Is this enough for formatting? I don’t know, but I’m too hungry right now to worry about that.
cut the rope 3I love seeing updates cut the rope 3 pop up. It reminds me of the good old days of the App Store.Oh no, am I? nostalgic For iOS games?Definitely…definitely time cannot pass That Quickly! Reset triggered by existential crisis! Well, we’ve added 30 new levels to the latest version of the game, including 10 new Nomies. You’ll get a new place to play, as well as some sort of magnet to use. Do you want to skip animation? You can do this now. There’s some shenanigans here involving iMessage chat, but that’s none of my business.
Dungeon Hunter 6, it takes a lot of courage to play dungeons for free, but some people have done it six times. Very respectful. Just… punch those stone walls, et cetera. This update adds the new Bloodthirsty Knight class to the game, and let me tell you, they love some blood. I can’t stand those bloody things. There are also new features like Expeditions and Reawakened Guardians, both of which are unlocked when your character reaches level forty. Moving on to level forty-six, you also gain access to the new Idol Weapon Star upgrade feature. If you want to destroy those pesky dungeons for good, you’ll have to starify these weapons. You can then use the meat from the dungeon to make Dungeon Sloppy Joe. OK
Minion Dash: Running Gamefree I saw this now called Minion Dash Parkour Game In the app store. Unfortunately, the minions alone aren’t enough to capture the attention of this game. Oh well. I’m sure they will regain their popularity soon. This update brings three new special missions to complete. At the Flying Minion House, the minions are participating in an acrobatic competition to celebrate the Lunar New Year (oh, there was such a competition). In Minion Racers, Gru’s daughters sign him up for a sports competition where the Minions need to assemble a car to help him win the checkered flag. Finally, in “Lucky Day,” the Minions are looking for a four-leaf clover in order to win the lottery. Hijinks, I tell you! Hi! Also: New costumes for Zodiac Bob and Racer.
Alien: Isolation, free but I’m not as hungry as these big aliens, right? In fact, is it hunger that drives them? They seemed focused on other things. It’s best not to overthink it. Regardless, this is another game today that is changing its monetization model. Instead of paying for the game upfront, you can now try the first two missions for free. This can give you an idea of whether the game is right for you and whether it will run well on your device. If you like it, you can unlock the full game and all its DLC for just $14.99 IAP.I will give this UMMS system Bonus this week because more people need to try this great game and this update will facilitate that.
That wraps up last week’s big update. I’m sure I missed something, though, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think there’s something that should be mentioned. As usual, the big updates will likely get their own press coverage this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the gaps. Have a great week!
