Iceberg Thermal IceFLOE Oasis 360mm All-in-One Cooler Review: Affordable and Effective Cooling

Iceberg Thermal Inc. is one of the new players in the PC cooling market. The company was self-founded in 2019 by a team of experienced designers and engineers to provide a wide range of PC cooling products to industrial and commercial users. They currently only have a handful of retail products, the vast majority of which are CPU air coolers, but they have just launched their first liquid cooler product, the IceFLOE Oasis series.

In today’s review, we’ll take a look at the IceFLOE Oasis 360mm AIO (all-in-one) CPU cooler, the larger of the two recently released liquid coolers from the company. Targeting the high-performance PC cooling market at a sub-$100 price point, the IceFLOE Oasis CPU Cooler is designed to deliver the performance needed to effectively cool power-hungry processors without draining your wallet in the process. The cooler features a 360mm radiator, providing plenty of cooling area, and a housing that can accommodate three high-airflow 120mm fans. IceFLOE Oasis supports multiple Intel and AMD socket types, making it compatible with a variety of CPUs. Additionally, it offers advanced RGB lighting, allowing users to customize the aesthetics of their cooling system.

Packaging and bundling

We received the IceFLOE OASIS 360 AIO CPU Cooler in a black cardboard box, with an oversaturated image of the cooler itself covering most of its front, as the designers tried to emphasize its ARGB Gen 2 compliance. Inside the packaging, the cooler comes in a custom-designed cardboard liner that has been carefully crafted to protect it throughout shipping and handling, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

The items bundled with the IceFLOE OASIS 360 are the minimum requirements for installing a cooler on your CPU. In addition to the mounting hardware, there’s a 3-in-1 4-pin connector for the heatsink fan, a 4-pin connector for the Molex (if anyone wants to plug a pump or fan directly into the PSU), and a syringe premium Thermal conductive materials. We should note that it doesn’t include an ARGB controller, which means the RGB lighting requires a compatible motherboard or a third-party controller to run.

At first glance, the design of the Iceberg Thermal IceFLOE Oasis 360mm all-in-one CPU cooler is consistent with the conventional layout of advanced 360mm all-in-one coolers on the market. The cooler maintains the typical AIO construction, consisting of a large radiator, two hoses, and an integrated pump block assembly. The module contains a copper CPU contact plate (or cold plate) as well as a highly efficient designed liquid pump, which is the most typical AIO cooler module setup. Iceberg Thermal opts for durable rubber hose wrapped in a braided sleeve for added protection while sacrificing some flexibility for durability.

The Iceberg Thermal IceFLOE OASIS 360 mm AIO has a radiator thickness of 27 mm, which is the most typical thickness for AIO cooler radiators, ensuring compatibility with almost any case designed to accommodate a 360 mm radiator. The radiator design follows a common two-channel cross-flow configuration, with small fins attached to elongated tubes. There is a tap on the radiator, probably for maintenance or refilling, but there is a sticker on it warning that the warranty will be voided if removed. The company’s logo is laser-etched on the side of the radiator.

The main part of the Iceberg Thermal IceFLOE Oasis 360mm all-in-one cooler features a design focused on aesthetic integration. Made primarily of durable plastic, the top cover is 90° adjustable, allowing the decorative logo to perfectly align with the motherboard. The logo is not visible until the ARGB connector receives a signal. The unit has a 90° connector on the side for smooth connection of two hoses and houses two cables: one is a 4-pin connector for power and the other supports RGB lighting. RGB functionality provides versatility, allowing connection to the supplied controller or any compatible RGB system for customizable lighting effects.

On the underside of the main block assembly of the Iceberg Thermal IceFLOE Oasis 360mm all-in-one cooler, there is a square-shaped contact plate that is secured to the plastic body with eight screws. The surface of the plate, while not mirror polished, is smooth and flat enough to allow for efficient heat transfer. The cooler does not come pre-applied with thermal paste; instead, a syringe of thermal paste is included for use during installation. The dimensions of the cold plate are approximately 56×56 mm, ensuring that it covers the entire CPU chip that it is compatible with.

Iceberg Thermal offers three 120mm fans, renamed with their own logo. All three fans feature a high-airflow, low-pressure design with seven narrow blades. Their operating range is very wide, from 200 to 2200 RPM, giving the IceFLOE OASIS 360 cooler great versatility. It has a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) engine that strikes a balance between top reliability and quiet operation. Their cables allow the ARGB and power connectors to be connected in parallel (daisy chaining), but they are of normal length and can easily cause a mess if not installed carefully.

Iceberg Thermal stuck to a traditional lighting scheme when designing the RGB lighting for the IceFLOE Oasis 360mm AIO cooler, opting for a translucent fan hub with LED fans inside and a backlit logo on the main block. The illumination provided is bright and fairly even, but the intensity tends to diminish towards the edge of the blade. Dimming the lights makes the spacing between LEDs clearly visible because LEDs are powerful but not plentiful. While this method of lighting may not set a new benchmark in current RGB trends, it will be enough to satisfy the needs of most users, except those who have very specific requirements for the aesthetics of their system.
